Do You Dream of Becoming a Mermaid? 

Well, with the PADI Mermaid course you can. Suitable for all those over the age of 12!

The PADI BASIC and MERMAID course will equip you with the skills to be able to experience life aquatic as a mermaid.

Both courses start with some freediving relaxation techniques and safety considerations before entering the water.

After this you will explore using the monofin, on the surface and diving.

Having mastered this you will put on a tail and immerse yourself into the mermaid world.

This is about fun, frolics and enjoying a whole new world...

 

PADI Courses

PADI Basic Mermaid™

A perfect introduction to the world of mermaiding. 

This is a half day course (4+ hours). 

Prior to the course you will study some PADI mermaid materials, independently online. 

​

The mermaid lesson takes place in a pool or calm, shallow and clear ocean setting.  Maximum depth 3 meters.

​

What's included?

  • Home study materials

  • 1 x theory class

  • 1 x pool session

​

Prerequisite: Ability to swim 50m without swimming aids and float comfortably at the surface for at least 3 minutes. 

​

For ages 6-106!

Cost - £ 150 (includes equipment, pool entry and elearning)

PADI Mermaid™

Take your mermaiding to the next level, with the PADI Mermaid Course™. 

This course will dive more into the performative nature of being a mermaid. And you will learn various underwater tricks that will be sure to impress your friends. 

The course is a full day (6+ hours) and includes 2 in-water sessions. Maximum depth 5 meters.

What's included?

  • Home study materials

  • 2 x theory sessions

  • 2 x pool/confined water sessions

 

Prerequisite: Ability to swim 50m without swimming aids and float comfortably at the surface for at least 5 minutes. 

​

For ages 10 - 110!

​

Cost - £ 300  (includes equipment, pool entry and elearning)
